Sports are great recreation, both as a participant and as a fan. They provide a great release from the tension of every day life. They are a great outlet and can be great fun.
This site is dedicated to encouraging sports fans and their favorite teams. While I am a Green Bay Packer fan and a Wisconsin native, the intent isn’t to promote Wisconsin teams.
There will be blog entries for various teams in the NFL, NBA, MBL, NHL and NCAA. The hope is you readers will contribute to these posts with your comments.
Sports merchandise is also shown here. We don’t sell or stock this sports gear. We are affiliate partners with the merchants whose products are advertised. The merchants are licensed to sell the jerseys, shirts and other sports gear and we are an authorized affiliate.
We encourage you to go the Favorite Teams category and tell us about your favorite memories about your favorite teams. Please keep it positive. That doesn’t mean you can’t comment on the year your favorite team came close to a title but fell just short. Or that you can’t comment on all the good things about being a Chicago Cubs fan, even though that major league title has been illusive.
Just keep it positive, please. We would like to encourage kids to post here and we would like this to be a site where you can briefly escape from life’s more strenuous moments, thus discussions of how this team isn’t your favorite or that player really blew it is outside the parameters for this site.
